The Gala has its origins at the historic Riverside Inn in Cambridge Springs PA. Unfortunately, on May 2, 2017, a kitchen fire broke out and engulfed the 132 year-old building in flames.
This year we are celebrating our 27th annual Lake Erie Gala! The Lake Erie Gala attracts crossdressers, transgender persons and their loved ones from across North America and beyond our borders.
This year’s theme is Arrr my Matey… It’s the Wenches' life for me. There will be a lot of shenanigans happening at this Friday’s night dinner.
We will start this fun filled week with a Welcome to the Gala with a Bang party. Please join us for Setting Sailer Buffet and Soup station.
Daytime Friday come join us on the bus for a fun group outing and lunch. Also, during the day on Friday and Saturday we will be holding informational meetings and fun gatherings. For those that are a little adventurous, once again, we will be holding our scavenger hunt for the lucky bracelet charms. The rules are simple, just grab your best gal pal and visit the local designated Erie businesses and our second floor vendors. At the end you will have a beautiful affirmation bracelet to take home and a chance to win special door prizes.
Thursday evening, we will be having an amazing buffet dinner. DJ Brittany will be back spinning the tunes for your dancing pleasure the rest of the night.
Studio71 Hair Salon had so much fun with us last year that they are eager for our return! We will be holding 3 ala carte spa sessions that you don’t want to miss. You will have the choice of having hair, makeup and/or nails done. They are also offering, by appointment only, one on one sessions on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday morning at their shop location which is only 3 minutes away from the host hotel.
Spouses/Significant others and supporters you are very much welcomed to this event as well and will be treated to a special Saturday off site lunch.
